The Original Auto Union Type C
The actual 1936 Auto Union Type C was a revolutionary car with a rear-central 16-cylinder engine. It produced around 520 horsepower and was one of the most successful German competition cars of its era, helping Bernd Rosemeyer win the European championship that season. Only a few drivers, including Stuck, were said to have been able to truly tame its significant power and oversteer characteristics.
