The real HB-ICZ aircraft was a significant part of Swissair’s fleet and bore the name “Bellinzona”.
Swissair was the national airline of Switzerland, known for its excellent service and reliability.
The airline took on several Caravelles (originally destined for SAS) starting in April 1960.
HB-ICZ was delivered new to Swissair on August 12, 1960.
It operated on short and medium-haul European routes.
Between June 1969 and March 1970, the aircraft was leased to Air Algerie.
It was eventually sold to Transavia in 1971 as PH-TRR and was broken up in 1975.
